AN EVENING WITH MAJEDA KARDOSH OF ISRAAID
In the summer/fall of 2017, IsraAID volunteers distributed food, supplies and psychological first aid to people affected by hurricanes in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Texas and Florida. Since its inception in 2001, IsraAID has responded to crises in 41 countries and has ongoing programs in 14 countries. Its humanitarian story will be shared by Majeda Kardosh, an Israeli nurse from Nazareth, who provided support to Syrian refugees in Greece. IsraAID received the Mother Teresa Memorial Award in 2017.
