Description

Two by Four: Under One Tent Book Discussion

Four sessions, two books, one amazing series. Join us for in-depth explorations of two outstanding books, each of which deals with a different slant on the 1930’s and 40’s.

The Plot Against America

What if? Pulitzer Prize-winning author Philip Roth imagines a past where the American hero and rabid isolationist Charles Lindbergh beats Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1940 presidential race. This bone-chilling, alternative narrative is told through the eyes of a Jewish boy in New Jersey.

Facilitator: Under One Tent Director Riva Gambert.

Attendance is limited to 25 people so RSVP early to underonetent@hotmail.com.

Suggested donation at the door: $5.

Sponsors: Contra Costa JCC and Cong. B’nai Shalom.
