The CCJCC is delighted to make Guri Alfi's conversation with his cousin Rabbi Mona Alfi available through Zoom on Monday, December 12th at 7:00 PM. Guri, who is visiting the U.S. in December, will be at Sacramento's B'nai Israel (where Rabbi Alfi leads the congregation) to discuss his Iraqi and Iranian roots. "In 2021, Under One Tent brought the community a series of presentations about the wonderful diversity of the Jewish People and this will be a great addition to our We Are the Jews series," says Under One Tent Chair Jo-Ann Jacobson.
Guri is in California to promote his interview-style humorous documentary, The New Jew.
